The beach is well worth a visit if you find yourself in Wexford. ⛱️

No designated car park, narrow road, and no bins for dog waste. However, the beach is amazing with a nice walk, especially when the tide is out. Dogs can be off-leash.

The road access is quite narrow. There are new parking spaces available on the road leading to the island, which is within walking distance of the beach. However, parking near the beach itself is very challenging. The beach features an extensive, gently sloping sandy area. There are no lifeguards on duty, so it's safer to swim on the left side of the beach. The rocks on either side of the beach provide suitable shelter.

This place is beautiful. I've been coming here since I was a child, and I recently returned for a visit. It hasn't changed at all—still a lovely little beach.

Breathtaking beach... incredibly clean with wonderfully warm water. However, I'm uncertain about the safety of swimming here. I noticed a sign indicating no swimming, yet many people were in the water. It would be great to have some local insights on the safety of swimming at this beach.
