Maya Beach Experience

My experience at Maya Beach Resort was fantastic. The location and views were breathtaking. The front desk staff could have been a bit more welcoming. However, Roberto, Paky, Emanuele, and Antonio were exceptional. They were very hospitable and friendly. Thank you all!

Located about 15 minutes west of Sorento Pizzta Tusso or the town center, this is an excellent spot for those looking to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle. You can reach the city center and the port for the ferry to Capri with a 15-minute taxi ride costing 50 euros or a bus ride for 2.40 euros.

We had an amazing stay at Maya Beach Resort. The rooms were luxurious and equipped with advanced technology. Our ocean view was breathtaking, and the facilities are truly world-class. The service we received from Carla at reception was outstanding. She went the extra mile to ensure our safe arrival and personally showed us to our room. She is a tremendous asset to the hotel. We’d love to return and highly recommend this place. The view and location of the hotel, especially the beach view, are unparalleled. Access to the hotel is provided via a free shuttle bus from the top of the hill entrance, which takes about 5 minutes down a winding, steep driveway. The only improvement we’d suggest is a scheduled bus route to and from the town center. Navigating to town by bus was a bit challenging since the buses lack numbers and tend to arrive either early or late. Taxis cost approximately 50 Euros one way.

I couldn't have had a worse experience with their customer service. After booking my trip through their website and paying the full fee (despite being told this wouldn't happen until check-in), I was informed that the hotel was closed on the dates I had booked. After weeks of ignored calls and emails, I finally received a refund, but it wasn't a full refund. They are now refusing to reimburse the remaining amount. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else!

The main pool area was reserved exclusively for a private party, leaving hotel guests without access. Additionally, many other facilities were closed, which was not disclosed on the official website. The staff were not particularly friendly, and the location is hard to reach with no shuttle bus service for guests. However, the view is quite nice!
