Although the number of casualties here was lower compared to Omaha beach, it doesn't diminish the significance of this place. The beachfront is adorned with several memorials and sculptures, and there is also a well-maintained museum, dining options, and restroom facilities. If you happen to be in the area, it is highly recommended to take a moment to honor the sacrifices made by those who ensured our present-day freedom.
