This beach is absolutely incredible, one of the best I've ever visited. Depending on the tide, you can walk out more than 100 meters into the ocean. However, it's important to be cautious of crocodiles, and I'm not joking about it!
The warm summer waters are delightful, offering a stunning view of the majestic mountains. We visited in January. There is a designated swimming area that is roped off to keep out the "stingers," as they are called here in Australia. Back home, we refer to them as jellyfish, but they might be related. Additionally, there are lifeguards on duty, which is fantastic for both children and adults. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for rent. It's a lovely place.
This beach is located in a fairly secluded area but is easy to drive to (just watch out for the oversized speed bumps on the way in). During our visit, there were only about 4 other people on the beach. Parking is limited, but since the beach isn't crowded, finding a spot isn't difficult. There are toilets available, and it's a very short walk from the car to the beach. The beach itself is beautiful and clean, with plenty of walking areas. There are warning signs for stingers and crocodiles, so swimming is not recommended. There is a stinger relief first aid spot, but it was empty when we arrived. There's a small camping area next to the parking lot where some people seemed to have settled in. A nice water hole and creek run out to the ocean, offering great photo opportunities and beautiful scenery. The creek is shallow, making it easy to walk across and access the entire length of the beach.
