Beach Marijo

A beautiful camp; large plots; the possibility of camping right next to the sea or more in the shade under the pine trees. To the town of Ugljan approx. 20 min walk. They have new toilets and showers. Peaceful camp.

A friendly campsite by a pretty bay, not far - along a scenic walking path, just 10 minutes from the town of Ugljan. You will be met and escorted to the campsite by the friendly owners Tanja and Miroslav, who take care of the impeccable hygiene of the toilets and other usable areas. The central part of the campsite - the reception - is also a pleasant place for socialising, where a knightly principle of honesty applies to the buffet of drinks; every drink poured (beer, etc.) is written on the wall under the guest's name and paid for at the end of the holiday. Otherwise, the campsite offers classic amenities in the form of natural undeveloped areas. It is therefore suitable for lovers of an authentic and natural environment. It does not offer a noisy experience, but rather a peaceful environment where peace and tranquillity usually reign after 22:00. In short, an environment where people who are inclined to 'get back to nature' can easily relax and enjoy themselves.

Nice and spacious plots overlooking the bay of Ugljan. Very nice welcome with free coffee and beer. We felt at home, too bad it started raining and we had to leave the next day.

We stayed there for a night in our tents, directly at the oceanside. It was a marvelous view, the campsite was beautiful and the host very nice and comforting. 10/10 would recommend.

This is a small-ish family owned camp that can pack quite a lot of tents and campers.There is plenty of shade for tents, and campers are usually first row next to the seaside in direct sunlight. Location is couple of kilometers from the settlement of Ugljan, in a village called Čeprljanda. The campsite has usual facilities - toilets, dish washing basins, outdoor and indoor showers, electricity ports scattered across the campsite. 5min walk to the nearest caffe/pizza restaurant. Our first camping neighbour has been coming to the same camp plot for the last 18 years, so that speaks for itself! The place is quiet, relaxed, and there is a gathering point at the reception where people hang around and enjoy good company every morning - mid day - evening, and the whole place oozes a family atmosphere. It's a really nice place to relax and unwind. The beach is natural, rocky, though rocks are not sharp underwater, and quite easy to access for most of the people, and in the bay, there are more common accesses with a small rocky bead etc. It is never too crowded, but that goes for the whole island. It's not an overcrowded island, great for families. There is a small bread/pastry delivery van coming every morning around 8:00, and vegetable/fruit one around 10:00. For sure will come back again!
