Went there and it was difficult enough to get to, down and old "boreen" (that's a narrow track road for non-Irish visitors) one car wide, so passing opposing traffic is typically difficult on these very minor roads. I had expected a car park but it's just grass and sand abutting the beach, so as it was a small area packed with cars, I parked next to another car on what seemed the same grassy ground and was immediately stuck in sand, had to seek help to push the car out. Embarrassing to admit but should serve as a warning to all, careful where you park here.
As there was no other space to park, we didn't get to explore the beach so left. The rating is for the difficulty of access and lack of facilities which would do with some attention from the local council of Waterford.
