Old Lighthouse beach

I have stayed at Lighthouse View around twelve times now and it's the only place we stay when we visit the Outer Banks. It's truly amazing. They have all the necessary amenities, including a laundry service. The rooms and cottages are very nice and well-maintained, especially with the recent renovations. The location right on the beach and close to shops, restaurants, and bars in Buxton is perfect. I highly recommend staying here for any length of time in the area. The friendly cats are a nice bonus as well!

I had a great experience booking my stay at this beach. Cassidy was incredibly friendly and helpful when I called to make a reservation. It was my first time staying here, but they made the check-in and check-out process so simple with text instructions sent directly to my phone. I appreciated having a door code instead of a key, and they even allowed us to check in early if the room was ready. The accommodations were very accommodating, and the beach access was truly amazing. The view from our living room was fantastic, and the deck furniture was top-notch. Parking was easy, the room was clean, and overall, we had a wonderful stay. I definitely plan on making this my go-to spot for my November visits.

This beach was ideal for our family of four. We visited during the off-season and got a great deal. It was conveniently located within walking distance of some of the places we wanted to visit. This was our first time staying in OBX and we would definitely come back. We were able to bring our own food and cook meals, although we did eat out a few times during our week-long stay. The view was absolutely beautiful.

We had a great time during our Thanksgiving visit. The beach was clean and well-maintained. The staff was quick to respond to our text messages. The view from the living room was breathtaking, and we loved relaxing on the deck while listening to the sound of the ocean. I highly recommend this beach!

The beach was absolutely stunning and the staff were incredibly friendly. I was initially hesitant about not staying at a well-known hotel, but this place completely changed my perspective. The suite had a fully equipped kitchen and the ocean view was just steps away from the beach. The bedroom offered a beautiful sunset view and the living room had a stunning ocean view. (Please note that baby toys and rum are not included)
