Charming small beach near Bowen, easily reachable via the esplanade footpath. It appeared lovely, but the water was rough and filled with churned-up seaweed, so we decided not to swim. I've been told that when the wind and tides are favorable, the water can be stunning.
Stunning, scenic, and tranquil. What more could you want? It's perfect for fishing and exploring the rock pools. Plus, with the beach situated at the base of Flagstaff Hill, it's just a short drive or a pleasant walk to the summit, where you'll be rewarded with breathtaking, panoramic 360⁰ views of the ocean and the town.
