One of the best silent beaches of Ontario, not too crowded, you can actually enjoy the Nature and super clear water waves... Superb location if you are planning for some wedding shoots etc.
Small beach, clear water, easy to access, there’s a small trail up to the stairs and the park, go around the subdivision, back to beach access. You should bring water shoes, it kinds of hurt on bared foot. The public washroom is super clean and well maintained. This is my second time, will come back :)
Nice beach by the pier but small area. We preferred Pioneer Park where you can watch the sunset at the top of the ridge or down some well designed stairs to the beach. The beach was sandy with some pebbles when you first get into the water. After sunset, it is a short walk to a quaint village of stores which has at least 2 ice cream stores. Sometimes musicians will spontaneously play music on the park at sunset.
We were incredibly happy to discover this beach! Clean, easy to access, sandy, and not too busy. It's pretty rocky at first when you enter the water, so water shoes are advised. Also, the waves can be pretty big so parents are encouraged to stay within arms reach of their kids.
Where I was located the available sandy part of the beach had limited space for visitors, but that being said if you are to get a spot it is really lovely. There are some stairs down to the beach and they are well maintained. The water is very beautiful.
