BakKhali Sea Beach

In Aug 19, my four friends and I embarked on a trip to Bakkhali. Upon our arrival, we had lunch at a restaurant where the food was excellently prepared. After lunch, we visited the main Bakkhali Beach. The beach is lined with numerous curio shops and fast food centers, and the lighting arrangements are well done. This makes it a safe and enjoyable place to spend your evenings.

I've visited Bakkhali three times, and each trip has been a joy. Unlike Digha, it’s less crowded, providing a peaceful and relaxing environment. While a one-day tour is possible, I suggest a two-day stay to fully enjoy the nearby attractions. Be sure to try the delicious fish fry available in the evenings at Bakkhali beach—it's both affordable and freshly made, setting it apart from other beaches.

Primarily from November to January, this place sees a lot of visitors, but the crowd is manageable. There are plenty of hotels available, with room rates ranging from 500 to 800. In the riverside shops, you can find beautiful handicrafts made by the villagers. "Serene Escape" Namkhana Sea Beach is a hidden gem! The soft golden sands, rhythmic waves, and clear blue skies create a tranquil haven. The natural beauty is complemented by a clean and well-maintained environment. Perfect for a peaceful retreat or a leisurely stroll. However, limited amenities are available, so come prepared. Overall, a picturesque destination for those seeking serenity.

This is a fantastic beach located in the Namkhana block of South 24 Parganas, within the Sundarban region. The area is dotted with numerous lodges, hotels, and restaurants. Every year, hundreds of visitors flock here to take in and enjoy the breathtaking scenery.

A wonderful sea beach to spend a weekend with your family or friends. The ocean here is very calm. The area is peaceful during the day and becomes surreal in the evenings. There's a lively market on the beach with numerous stalls offering delicious items that many of us love to snack on. The aroma of fried fish fills the air, and there are stalls all over the beach selling a variety of fried or batter-fried fish. You can sit on the beach in chairs that are available for rent on an hourly basis at a very reasonable cost. The area is accessible only by road from Kolkata, so you will need to either bring your own vehicle or rent one to get here. State government buses are also available for transportation.
