McBrides Beach, located in the northern part of Booti Booti National Park at Cape Hawke in Forster, can only be reached via a steep walking track that was completed in 2020. As soon as you set eyes on this beach, you'll be instantly captivated by its beauty. It truly is the perfect place to escape for a day. The foot track to McBrides Beach begins at the carpark halfway up the hill, and the connecting track to Burgess Beach also starts from there. Additionally, the foot track to the lookout starts at the carpark located at the top of the hill, where the road ends. It's important to note that this beach is not patrolled, and 4WD access and camping are strictly prohibited.

If you're up for a grade 3 bushwalk, it's definitely worth checking out. The walk to the beach is easy, but the way back can be quite steep. The beach itself is absolutely stunning. On both occasions we visited this month, we had the entire beach to ourselves. You have the option to swim either in the rocky area on the south end or in the beach itself. At the north end, there's a charming little cave. Last year, we spotted a massive snake on the beach, but this year we only saw one large and one small Goanna. If I lived nearby, I would come here every day for the exercise and the beauty.

The private beach is absolutely stunning and definitely worth the uphill hike back to the carpark.

The beach is absolutely stunning and it's important that we take care of it. I'm glad that it's no longer accessible to 4WD vehicles. However, it was a bit disheartening to see a few dogs there, even though they're not allowed. It's unfortunate that some dog owners give everyone a bad reputation. Overall, it's a fantastic beach to explore, swim, and unwind.

This beach is absolutely stunning and it's conveniently located just an 8-minute walk away from the car park.
