An enchanting experience, observing the waves, birds, headlands, and rocks. There's a fantastic cafe called Sandbox with a deck that offers a stunning view of the water. Ample parking is available during the week. The beaches appear perfect for swimming and surfing. Highly recommended.

I had an amazing time bodyboarding here, but I encountered a strong rip current that carried me from the middle of the beach to the rocks. I was so exhausted that I almost drowned because I couldn't keep myself afloat, let alone swim out of it. There were no patrols on the beach, but thankfully, my husband, who is a very experienced swimmer, saved me.

On Thursday afternoons and Sunday evenings, the bar welcomes you! Relax with a few quiet drinks on the verandah or gather with friends at one of the larger tables inside. By visiting, you'll be supporting the Flynns Beach Surf Lifesaving Club and soaking in the club's rich history and stunning beach views.
