Stunning beach with swimming patrols towards one side. No dogs allowed on the beach unfortunately, but a fantastic place to soak in the sun. Stingers and croc warnings on the beach too, and worth staying within the patrolled flags.
Sticky heat. Put up your feet. Savour a little treat. Chew on some meat? Anyway, lovely beach and definitely my favourite of this area. A lot less busy and touristy. Highly recommend you check it out for a relaxing sunbathe on a summers day. Totally worth your time.
Popular with both tourists and locals alike and is a reasonable commute from Cairns CBD. Has great range of holiday accommodation, restaurants cafes a tavern, and a handful of shops to choose from. The beach has a box jellyfish stinger net enclosure for the summer months to allow swimming year round.
