It is a beautiful place to visit. The Lagoon is formed by a reef that acts as a barrier between the ocean and beach.
On a calm day, the water is calm and safe for small children and families.
On a day when the wind and tide are up, a strong current washes from the south end to the north. It becomes quite difficult to stand, let alone swim against it.
Be careful of snakes in the sand dunes. Do not place your belongings close to the dunes fence.
The only things I don't like, are that there is no water fountain, or shade on the beach.
Just be prepared, bring your own water and shade if you're staying a while.
The SLS club has hot water in the changerooms.
Oh and please don't ride on the reef.
Walking on it is not encouraged either.
