What a dream village we found on our travels through this region! Piediluco is the Brigadoon of Umbria , an enchanting hidden gem embedded within mountains and hills and medieval villages . You find yourself wondering "Why haven't I heard of this place before ?" and then you realize the town and it's inhabitants awake from their torpor for just one day every 1,000 years!! (So make sure you don't miss it!) The Lake is beautiful and the Paddle boat tour which leaves from the Miralago Beach was both informative and fun and conducted by a passionate local with tons of Bias but who wouldn't be in such a glorious gorgeous location. It was said " Never fall in love in Brigadoon " (as it would disappear at midnight for a millenium) but we definitely fell in love in Piediluco and cannot wait to return and RETURN WE WILL!!

Shockingly you can bathe in one meter of water. You cannot pass the red buoys. The lake is oily from boat fuel. Go to the Baraonda restaurant, same management, initially everyone is friendly but then if you stay a little longer they will rush you to leave the table and take your orders. The food is okay to eat but it's not the best. Do you ME NEVER AGAIN

An enchanting place.. Beach equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds.. Cool boat tour... Canoe and pedal boat rental.. Great professionalism and friendliness of the owners David and Silvana and the lifeguard Debora.. Super pet friendly... Highly recommended for children and four-legged friends!!!! Top!!!!!

A small boat excursion (a ride practically 100m from the shore just to see the town from afar) to hear a historical chat about a town that is partly old and partly new, certainly beautiful and lucky to have developed on the lake... Story focused on: - Sports center of the national rowing team, - a "particular ECO" from the center of the lake. - on two or three historical topics...., with an arrogant conceit (with jokes about those present). - on political disputes with personal statements of clear political reference and on those who govern them and manage the waters, without them having any economic benefit. - Of village and personal problems, as well as a confidence/comedy that they take (in their way of doing things) without being granted it. If he's the only one taking a boat ride.....be prepared. If you avoid it, it's better. Take a pedalo, go wherever you want, enjoy nature and the landscape, in a sacred silence.
