Beautiful place and adventurous road to get there. I discovered I had some vertigo when trying to go down the very exposed steps (with strong wind), so semi-crawled down feet first just to be a bit safer.
Going around the rocks to the cave entrance, you have to get lucky that the tide isn't too high, and time it so the waves don't get your feet wet (or wear good water shoes).
Inside it's quiet and beautiful - if there are few people. I wouldn't like coming here during high season.
Definitely bring flipflops or water shoes for when you're inside to be able to walk in the water - the views outside are lovely too, and your feet will thank you.
Important - some things you need to know BEFORE visiting! Wear rugged shoes, you need to book a time slot BUT only when you get to the cabin at the start of the trail. To do this you’ll need to scan the QR code and there’s scant mobile reception, so this was a challenge. We turned back.
If you prepare better than us, I’m sure it’s beautiful!
Beautiful natural sea reserve.
If you want to see the Caves in hi season (summer) you must RESERVE WITH 10 DAYS in advance in this site - https://parquesnaturales.gva.es/es/web/pn-el-montgo I went all the way and wasn’t able to enter, but did some beautiful snorkelling on the shore 100% recomended.
