My friend suggested we visit Pepper Park Beach to collect shells for my beach cottage decor. It's known as one of the best shelling beaches near Hutchinson Island. We had a wonderful time strolling along the beach, discovering shells and driftwood, and appreciating the natural beauty. Each shell we found was unique, from calico scallops to turkey wing shells to 3-inch cowry shells. Although we didn't find any conch shells, we arrived in the afternoon after the post-Thanksgiving crowd had already combed the beach. We decided to stay overnight at my friend's house and return early the next day for more shelling.
Pepper Park Beach is a fantastic spot for families. It wasn't crowded, and children of all ages were enjoying the gentle waves. Lifeguards were on duty, and the park provided convenient facilities like bathrooms and showers.
