Cedar Point Beach

If you're heading to Cedar Point for the amusement park, make sure to check out the beach! It's easily accessible from both the main and waterpark parking lots, with two park entrances located by Windseeker (on the beach) and Magnum (near Hotel Breakers). It's a perfect way to enjoy the beautiful Lake Erie scenery and avoid or detour the crowds inside the park. Best of all, after a long day at the park, if you parked in the main lot, you can exit through the Magnum gate and take a leisurely walk along the beach to get to your car. This route offers a great opportunity to experience the lively atmosphere at Hotel Breakers and on the beach, and you might even catch a stunning sunset to cap off a fantastic day at Cedar Point!

The water is fantastic! If you walk a little further from the entrance, you'll find more space. The area also gets cleaner as you approach the resort. The parking fee is absolutely worth it for a wonderful day at a safe and tranquil beach.

The water remains shallow (3-4 feet) even quite far out! The beach is very clean, with rinsing stations and restrooms conveniently nearby. You can enjoy a few games on the beach, such as Connect Four and cornhole. Additionally, there are bars and restaurants accessible just outside the park on the Hotel Breakers property. Admission is free, except for the cost of parking in the large Cedar Point lot.

We had a fantastic day at the beach. The water was calm and, for Lake Erie, surprisingly clear. The beach was fairly clean, though there were some areas that reminded you it was still Ohio, littered with cigarette butts and empty cups and bottles.

What a fantastic spot! We had an amazing time enjoying the beach and all the exciting activities available. It almost feels like you're actually by the ocean. Being from the Jersey Shore, I know the real deal, and this place definitely measures up. We thoroughly enjoyed the games, and the staff was wonderful, particularly Hanna, who was incredibly helpful and a great addition to the beach. The views and the atmosphere were simply delightful.
