The road downhill is a little rough, but it's manageable with any car (we were driving a panda). This beach is a hidden gem, only known to the locals. The sand is incredibly fine, and the water is crystal clear, with clay mounds surrounding it. It's absolutely stunning.
The private beach at the Torre Normanna hotel is a pleasant and welcoming spot. Access is typically via the hotel elevator, but during my stay, it was out of service. Fortunately, the driver provided a bus ride to the gate. Hotel guests can enjoy complimentary kayaks, SUP paddles, and chilled water from the fridge. The ambiance is enhanced by gentle background music, umbrellas, and deckchairs. The only downside is the absence of a bar, so you can only chill your own alcohol. P.S. There is a hole in the fence a few dozen meters below the bend in the road, which allows easy access. There were no issues with the presence of non-guests.
The Mandre Tower is uniquely situated between two territories, with part of it located in the locality of Trabia. As noted earlier, its panoramic position enabled soldiers to defend themselves more effectively during attacks, providing a vantage point from Capo Zafferano to the coasts of Campofelice di Roccella. The scenery is extraordinary, offering a breathtaking view of the sea. Currently, the tower is in excellent condition, with its architectural integrity well-preserved and truly worth admiring.
