The walk to the beach through the reserve is fairly easy. The beach itself is stunning and offers plenty of space for picnicking. There is limited parking available and a playground for children. Additionally, there are toilets that remain open in the evening. However, the water is not suitable for swimming and there are numerous shells scattered about. As you enter the reserve, it branches off into the Manukau Coastal Walkway, which provides walking and hiking trails.

Maybe you should stick to the mall and stop disrespecting nature. Yes, it's a steep hike, parking is scarce, and there are no amenities. But that's precisely what makes it such a delightful spot (along with the breathtaking views, peace, and serenity).
