We spent our vacation in Mezhvodnoye, a wonderful place. Despite the surrounding steppes, the South Coast offers a relaxing atmosphere with beaches to suit every preference. There are rocky shores with beautiful bays and long sandy beaches. The sea here is the cleanest along the entire coast and warm, which attracts beautiful cornerota jellyfish, especially during their mating season in August. We took a boat ride along Cape Tarkhankut, and the view was stunning. Belyaus Spit and Bakalskaya Spit, with their white sand, are often referred to as the "Crimean Maldives." However, there are many tent campers, and while I have nothing against this type of holiday, they often leave behind mountains of garbage. I believe that if you bring food and other items with you, you should also take them to the nearest trash can instead of leaving them where you camp. It's a shame to litter such a beautiful place. Overall, the experience was filled with positivity, sun, sea, and sunsets. I fell in love with Western Crimea and plan to return here. Even the steppes are no longer daunting.

A stunning, secluded spot, tucked away from those heading to Olenevka—there's not a single sign pointing to it. The water is pristine and clear, with beautiful shells, fish, and crabs swimming around. ❤

The beach is fantastic—small, cozy, with a high shore and sandy terrain. The water is clear, with an optimal depth and gentle waves splashing. The sunset directly over the sea is breathtaking. When I first saw it, I felt as delighted as a child. However, after a storm, algae washed ashore, and since the beach is wild and not maintained, it wasn't cleaned up. After a few days, the algae naturally started to wash away on its own (see photo).

This is not a typical city beach! It's a small sandy bay nestled among the rocks. (The review about the equipped beach does not pertain to this location!) We couldn't find the descent; perhaps you need to go around. As of August 2019, the area is mostly covered in algae and has a matching odor. It might only be suitable for a picnic from above or for those looking for a rugged experience among the rocks.
