Not a long stroll as very limited grounds for wheelchair users. Concrete grounds next to the beach front with two slopes along that lead to the beach. The beach is pebbles which will make your wheelchair wheels dig in so not ideal at all. There is disabled parking (free for blue badge holders) there is a cafe, a hotel and holiday park on site. There is an outdoor playground if you have little monkeys with you to keep them amused for a while.
A lovely place to stop for hour or two.
St Bees coastline, just remarkable and was very warm in the months we went.
To visit a Aunty that lives near by. For her 80th.
Glad I went as I not ever got the chance before.
Recommend to go
Fab beach with stunning views, well worth a visit, we would definately visit again. There is a large car park and childrens play area right near the beach.
Start of the Coast to Coast path. Nice clean amenities and a pleasant cafe/shop. Nice beach and plenty of outdoor seating. Car park charges Not to bad.
Worth a visit
