The sandy and gravel beach is a nice spot to relax for a bit. It may not be the most amazing beach ever, but the soft sand and gravel offer some comfort. The beach was clean enough, and the water was good for swimming. It's a peaceful place to spend a day by the water.
The beach was extremely clean and enjoyable to relax on. When I visited, the tide was low, leaving behind charming and warm little pools. I spent a good amount of time paddling in these pools, feeling like I was walking on the untouched surface of the moon. In the distance, you could see the mountains of the Lake District.
The beach is clean and very spacious when the tide is low, allowing for long walks. Some parts may be muddy, but overall there is clean sand and pebbles near the water. It is a great spot for families with children and dogs. Restrooms are available at both the Marine Hall end and near the observation tower. The views of Morecambe Bay, the Lake District, and the mountain Ingleborough are stunning, with the River Wyre and North Yorkshire skyline visible as well.
I went to Fleetwood Beach in Lancashire during my drive from Blackpool in June 2021. It's a beautiful beach with a seafront promenade, making it a pleasant place to relax. The views of the Lake District and Morecambe Bay are lovely. In my opinion, it's a quieter alternative to the beaches in Blackpool and other nearby attractions. There is ample parking available and you can enjoy delicious ice creams and other seaside refreshments. Have a great time! :)
I really enjoy this beach - it's a peaceful spot not too far from Blackpool, but away from the hustle and bustle of the main beach. It's a rocky beach, but still beautiful, and you might even spot some little crabs scuttling around.
