Rebak Resort Beach

Truly one of the best resorts ever. Top-class hospitality and courteous staff. The standout feature of the resort is the red rock beach, accessible via a fun, medium-level difficulty, 2 KM trek through dense foliage from the reception. The view is absolutely breathtaking once you reach the beach. Even if you skip the trek, there is no shortage of activities (kayaking, ATV, sea swimming, nature walk, yacht rentals). You can kayak around the nearby island and even take a break at the beach there. Where the resort can improve is by offering more food options for vegetarians and removing plastic waste from the beaches more frequently. Nonetheless, Malaysian hospitality is truly remarkable, and the people at Rebak made our stay memorable.

Our stay was for 3 days and 2 nights, checking out on 31/7. Fortunately, we brought our own snacks and toiletries. The experience was nothing exceptional but acceptable. The room was just right for us. On the first day, we tried hiking from Panuba to Kampung ABC, which was a great experience. However, be extra careful if you have kids as it takes 15-20 minutes. Room: ☆☆☆ Food & Beverage: ☆☆ - This rating is due to the fact that only our family and two other couples were checked in. Facilities: ☆☆ - The television had no channels available. Services: ☆☆ - The shuttle boat service was only available for check-in and check-out, with other activities costing RM10 per person.

This beach is a great place to unwind, far from the hustle and bustle of Long Beach. You can find shade under the trees, but watch out for falling coconuts! There's also a platform where you can swim out to. The water is mostly sandy, so it's not too rocky, and you might even spot some fish while snorkeling. All in all, if you're seeking relaxation, I would definitely recommend this beach.

Stunning scenery, reminiscent of a private beach. When I arrived, there weren't too many people picnicking. There's a nearby campsite and a chalet close to the beach. The mobile phone signal (Umobile) is poor, so it's best to inform your family before heading there. 😁 To reach Pantai Pasir Lanun for a picnic, you need to pass through a short jungle trail.

The view is simply awesome 😍. You can see the sunset clearly, and it feels so close to you. Compared to Batu Feringghi, I prefer this spot for watching the sunset 😍. I think the beginning of the year is the best time to see it. Besides that, you can enjoy a variety of foods here, all of which are Penang local dishes. Just don't forget to bring plenty of money 😆😆. Enjoy the view, guys 🥰!

We booked a Superior Twin for just one night in February 2024. Please be aware that the adult swimming pool is closed until October 2024 and bringing alcohol is not permitted. The room was spacious, with comfortable beds and pillows. However, the air conditioning unit is installed quite low on the wall, causing the air to blow directly on you. The toilet seat is smaller than the toilet itself, which I found quite annoying, though this is a personal preference. It was evident that the hotel used to be a nice 4-star establishment, but it seems to be declining. The bathroom appeared shabby and in need of redecoration. Breakfast was decent, offering both Asian cuisine and Western options like mini croissants and pastries. The beach is located just behind the hotel, and some rooms have a beach view, but the water is not a clear crystal blue. We chose not to swim in the sea as it was quite rough.
