Positano beach III

For those who don’t enjoy reading much: It was perfect! For everyone else: I expected it to be good, but it exceeded my expectations! Picture a property perched on the steep slopes of Positano, where the Mediterranean ambiance, complete with fragrant flowering plants and lizards, envelops you as you navigate the 370 steps between the beach and the breakfast terrace. The attentive service from the Giulio and Giacomo brothers and their family embodies true Italian hospitality. Indulge in local delights like mozzarella made just hours before breakfast, fresh fruit, and their incredible homemade marmalade. We were lucky to visit during the peak of citrus season☺. The accommodation is beautifully Italian, featuring typical blue and white tiles and offering an unrestricted view of the deep blue Tyrrhenian Sea. Enjoy the naturally shaped saltwater swimming pool carved into the rock wall or the private pebble beach equipped with sea kayaks and paddle boards. Everything is meticulously cleaned daily. If you're in good shape (those stairs are no joke☺) and don't mind spending a bit more for authenticity and quality, I highly recommend it. Thank you, La Fenice, we had an amazing time!

La Fenice is an ideal place to stay in Positano. Giulio, Giacomo, and Constantino are incredibly helpful and kind, assisting with experiences and travel plans on the Amalfi coast, and are very friendly. The property itself is stunning—our rooms were spacious with a fantastic view of the sea. All shared spaces, such as the breakfast balcony and pool lounge, offer breathtaking views of the sea and coast. The private beach is excellent and uncrowded, with plenty of beach supplies available (umbrellas, chairs, kayaks, pool noodles, etc.). The sea and pool were warm enough for swimming even in late September. The walk to town takes about 5-10 minutes and is filled with beautiful sights. One of our favorite parts of the stay was the delicious and fresh food from Positano Farm! There are many stairs, but that is expected anywhere in Positano and is definitely worth it. Thank you for the wonderful stay—10/10 recommend!

Our welcome from Giulio, Constantino, Jack, and their family was absolutely wonderful. They took excellent care of us and made us feel right at home. The included breakfasts were amazing and varied each day, and the poolside lunches were also fantastic. The location and views are great. Positano is bustling, but this little slice of paradise is idyllic. There are a lot of steps to navigate, but they help walk off the delicious food and wine. We will recommend this place to everyone.

My wife and I recently stayed at La Fenice for our honeymoon, following a recommendation from a good friend. La Fenice exceeded our expectations! The location is stunning, just a short walk from Positano, and it boasts its own private beach and pool. It's a perfect escape from the crowds and posers, allowing you to experience the Amalfi coast in a truly authentic Italian way. Giulio hosted us in the mornings at breakfast, offering excellent advice on trail running in the hills and food choices. Giacomo entertained us during lunch by the pool, providing great tips for food and nightlife. Our stay couldn't have been more enjoyable, and we hope to return in the future with our family.

Absolutely stunning hotel, perched on a cliff just a five-minute walk from town. The accommodation features an amazing saltwater pool and a private beach. There are various options available, including top-notch villas and suites. We stayed in a family room located above the main dining area. The views are breathtaking, overlooking the water and the side of Positano, although part of the town view is partially obstructed by the cliff. Nevertheless, you can still see enough, including the entire bay. Breakfast is plentiful and offers a great opportunity to meet other guests. The best part is the wonderful family that runs the place. They are engaging and will organize anything you need. Truly beautiful people! Highly recommend. We stayed as a family of four with young girls.
